How credits work in TinyFloorPlan
Credits are TinyFloorPlan's usage balance for premium actions. This page explains exactly what credits are, how they are given, how they are consumed, and how to track every transaction.
Starting balance
New users start with +5 credits.
With referral
A new user gets +6 total credits (5 signup + 1 referral).
No hidden spending
Every credit change is recorded with event, amount, and resulting balance.
Credit inflow
How credits are given
Credits are added through onboarding, referrals, public sharing rewards, and purchases.
Signup bonus
+5
Every new account starts with a signup credit balance so you can use premium actions immediately.
Recorded as Signup bonus in your credit transaction history.
Referral bonus
+1
When someone signs up with your referral code, both of you receive bonus credits.
Both referrer and referred account receive a Referral bonus entry.
Public clone reward
+1
When another user clones your publicly shared plan, you earn a creator reward.
Applies when the cloner is not the same account as the project owner.
Credit purchases
Pack-based
You can buy additional credits through PayPal checkout from the purchase page.
Current packs: 50 credits ($20.00), 150 credits ($50.00). Purchases are logged as Credit purchase events.
Credit outflow
How credits are consumed
Credits are deducted only for premium actions. If your balance is insufficient, the action is blocked.
Create project
5 credits
When you create a new dashboard project.
If your balance is too low, project creation is blocked.
Underlay upload / replace
1 credit
Each time you upload or replace an underlay image.
Used to trace reference plans directly in the editor.
Export without watermark
1 credit
Per export when watermark mode is set to without watermark.
With-watermark exports remain available without this charge.
Marketing PDF export
5 credits
Per marketing PDF document generation.
This is the premium multi-view presentation export.
Public plan clone
1 credit
When you clone a publicly shared plan into your account.
The source project owner receives +1 creator reward when cloned by another user.

You can audit every credit change in your account page.
Account credit ledger
Open Dashboard → Account to see your current balance, referral code, and full transaction table.
Transaction details
Each record includes event type, feature (if any), amount (+/-), balance after, timestamp, and request metadata.
Insufficient credit behavior
If your balance is below the required cost, TinyFloorPlan blocks the premium action and returns an insufficient credits message.
FAQ
Credits questions, answered
Do credits expire?
There is currently no automatic credit expiration mechanism in TinyFloorPlan. Your balance persists until credits are spent.
Are all features credit-based?
No. Core editing, drawing, collaboration setup, and many workflows are free. Credits are only used for specific premium actions.
What happens if I do not have enough credits?
The action is blocked with an insufficient credits message, and your current balance is shown so you know how many credits you need.
Need more credits?
Purchase credits with PayPal, then review your updated balance and transaction details in your account ledger.
